Liz Dawson was offered the chance last April to compete as the club representative for ADAC and with a tear in her eye accepted. I tracked her down finally and she agreed to write a wee blog for our website. What she achieved was amazing and well deserved after a long and interrupted training schedule. A brief descrition of my experience of training for and racing a Marathon.

If you haven't yet tried a Parkrun - you should. They are free and easy to enter. You can go to the Park run page https://www.parkrun.org.uk/register/ and you will get a bar code which you take to any of the Park run venues - and there are loads of them.
