WEEKLY ROUND UP 19/07/18
Our Summer season gets back into action this weekend with both Juniors and Seniors involved in competition.
Juniors are off to Carlisle for the 3rd meeting of the Cumbria league. The sunhine has been organised and the events start around noon. It's great to be back at the Sheepmount track this year after the floods which have devasted the area and we're looking forward to a good day out.
Seniors are off to the Hartfell Horse-shoe hill race on Sunday and you can read more on this in our hill section HERE.
Last week Seniors also competed in the Moffat Gala race with some excellent performances. You can read up about this by clicking HERE.
Next week we will have another Summer League fixture the Castle Douglas 5 mile road race. There is still time to enter this on Entry central or you can enter on the night. The fun begins at 7pm at the park in Castle Douglas.
Looking ahead we have our own festival which you can enter by downloading the entry form on our Festival page HERE. We're hoping for a great turnout like last year especially on the Friday evening with the MAGIC MILE event in which each competitor will receive a medal. Some entry forms will be available at training.
Also in the weeks ahead the Dalbeattie 10km race is now available for entry. You can download the entry form HERE.
It's a great course - not a flat , fast one but one which the scenary will be the best in the area.
