This event seems to be one of those unpublicised events which is only known of through word of mouth and is an entry on the night with registration taking place near to the Lochside Theatre and camping site from around about 6pm.
(Memory serves that it is about £4 entry but be prepared to pay a bit more!! - I've not been able to find out!)
The course takes runners of a loop of Carlingwark Loch (A course plan is provided on the Seniors Championship page LINK)
Rory Longmore took club honours in this event last year with a time of 30.33 whilst Liz Dawson taking the maximum points in the Ladies competition. With both in fine form again this year will they repeat their success again this year?
Club records suggest that the best time at this event by an ADAC runner was 26.34 by Mark Whitelaw in 2005.
