Welcome to Summer ?
With the clocks changing we’re all looking forward to a decent spell of weather. That was until the start of the holidays and the rain and even snow in places made conditions pretty miserable for some.
Hopefully this spell of weather will change soon, and we can get out and enjoy some warmer temperatures to train and race in.
Memberships
Our membership page has been updated to include this year’s forms which can be downloaded and handed in or posted off to the membership secretaries (addresses are on the forms). Please make sure that you get these forms in soon. You can find the forms by clicking HERE.
It’s all change at the AGM.
The club held it's annual general meeting on Monday 26th March and a brand-new committee was elected. There will be more details on our website but congratulations to Ruth Griffith who is our new chairperson for the upcoming year. We wish her the very best and I’m sure our committee members will work to hard support her throughout the year. We also must thank Barry Fitzgerald for his tireless work last year in his role as club President.
Updating our fixture lists
Our website is currently being updated to include all our fixtures in both Junior and Senior events. This does take time so please check the pages regularly. These should appear on the right-hand side of the home page, so you can see what is coming up. You can click HERE to see what’s coming up.
Events coming up include the first Junior track meeting of the season , Screel Hill race and the first senior Summer Road race championship event at Hightae.
