Our highly successful Begnners group have now a championship to look forward to over the summer. All of the details are below. All events will be run alongside other Senior races and will be dully supported by Senior helpers. The idea is to have a lot of fun whilst developing a little bit of a competition.
Post beginners group championship
There will be 4 races in this ch'ship and you need to complete 3.
Points will be awarded both for position in the race and for age grade %
Points will be as follows:
20 points for first
18 points for second
16 points for third
15 points for fourth, then 14, 13 etc.
Everyone will receive 5 points for completing the event.
In addition points will be awarded for age grade %:

An additional 5 points will be awarded for completing all 4 races.

Friday 28th July
The Magic Mile and Annan River Race 1.6m
(Part of the ADAC Summer festival – entry form on ADAC website. These two races will count as one race)
Saturday 12th August
Annan 4 mile race (ADAC race)
Saturday 7th October
Gretna Green 10km (ADAC race)
In addition competitors can take part in any Carlisle Parkrun from when they joined the beginners group until Saturday 14th October. You need to ensure that I receive your best Parkrun time and the date that it was achieved by Sunday 15th October 2017.
