ADAC's very own Nicole Proudfoot is off to the Schools International Track and Field event at Santry Stadium in Dublin this weekend. Nicole who was the recipient of a Gold Award from the "Welcome to Langholm" Future Champions Awards will represent Scotland on Saturday in the girls under 17 long jump. Nicole was chosen for the team after winning the Scottish Schools Pentathlon and Long Jump events and the Scottish Pentathlon Championships with some consistent jumping of 5.52 and 5.51cm. She competes alongside her training partner Megan Busby from Carlisle who is also coached by John Birkett and who will represent England in the same competition. Who knows what colours John will wear on Saturday. We wish Nicole the very best and we will keep you posted on her progress in the competition which starts around 12-30. Good luck Nicole !
