New Year's Day Whisky Run - Langholm
It's almost 2017 and the first event in the new year sees the annual Whisky Run held in Langholm.
This popular event is held each January 1st and the winner will receive a bottle of Whisky. All runners and walkers should meet at the Health Centre car park and aim to finish by 11am.
The course is very similar to the Doctors Run (8.3 miles) held earlier in the year , a testing ,undulating course mainly on roads which will test every competitor.
There is a small entry fee (£2) and all competitors can set off whenever they wish.
A great way to start the year.
