Please note that the start time for the second running of the Lockerbie Loop Time Trial has been brought forward to 6.30pm - i.e. ALL runners should be ready to start the event at this time as the run will be done under a strict handicap start based on the TT1 results. The first person back on the night (who is eligible from TT1) will be the 'winner' so if you are late for your start time the race will not wait for you although you will be able to run.
Those familiar with the route will know that parking is limited - please car share where possible and park sensibly - consider parking on the other side of the motorway if necessary.
The decision to move the start time forward is in order to reduce the risk of running after sunset and remove as much risk as possible. Runners are still asked to consider their own health and safety, particularly wearing bright colours or high-vis, running facing oncoming traffic and not using headphones.
