A good news story for ADAC athletes Danny (aged 13) and his sister Evie (aged 9) who both took part in the 2.5k Great Winter Run, Edinburgh on 9th January 2016.
Between them they have raised £846.90 for the Sick Kids Hospital in Edinburgh which has been caring for Danny since he was 5 with kidney problems.
They are both members of Annan & District Athletic Club who have supported and encouraged Danny & Evie to succeed with their middle distance & cross country running.
Danny is the most determined person I know & will not let his illness get in the way of his running.
Danny came 12th overall out of approximately 400 children and Evie came 20th in her respective category. They had an amazing day meeting Mo Farah & Jo Pavey. Danny & Evie would like to thank all family, friends, ADAC, Annan Academy, Newington & Gretna Primary Schools & Annan Athletic Football Club for sponsorship.
The money raised goes towards helping sick kids get better.
