URGENT CHANGE TO WINTER LEAGUE EVENT
After recent heavy rains there is still flooding on some parts of the planned route. The course has been checked every day this week in the hope that the waters will have receded. Unfortunately this did not happen and this has made the course dangerous and in our opinion not safe to run over. Tonight's weather forecast is for temperatures to drop below freezing making road conditions treacherous. We have decided to change tomorrow's planned course in favour of a Trail race at Auchenrodden forest 2.5 miles north of Lockerbie. We would ask all runners to meet at Ponsse car park for 10am thereafter we will travel to the forest. TRAIL shoes will be needed. The course is a loop of 2.4 miles which we will run two times. Please feel free to contact me if anyone needs more information.
Afterwards there will be a cup of tea/coffee at Casa de Cameron back in Lockerbie.
Many thanks for your understanding. It was a difficult decision but made wih runner's safety in mind.
