Lockerbie 10k - 9th June

The next Championship race is the Lockerbie 10k which will take place on the 9th of June.  Please note that originally this was planned to be run on the 16th but due to a change in date of the Dalbeattie half marathon it has been brought forward a week.

The route will be run in a Clockwise direction this year, starting and finishing on Dryfe road.  First runners will go off at 7pm and handicaps will be advised on the night - please no early starters unless walking, everyone will be accommodated!

Club records have been scoured and the course record is considered to be 35.03 by Mark Whitelaw in 2007.  Last year's winner was Rory Longmore who clocked 37.32.

A course plan has been added to the Seniors Championship page.

After the run everyone is invited back to George Fraser's for a cup of tea and a wee bite to eat.  In return George will be seeking sponsorship support when he takes on the Glasgow Men's Health 10k on 21st June in aid of Yorkhill Children's Hospital.
