CARISLE CROSS COUNTRY SATURDAY 14th DECEMBER

There was a risk that this event might not take place this week as heavy rain flooded part of the course but the organisers worked overtime to change the course slightly so that it could take place. The going was very soft and a cold, strong wind meant that everyone was very pleased to see the finish line after an exhausting race.

Our Seniors were represented by Norman , Richard ,Jack , Ross and Joe who all battled against the elements.

First home was Jack who just pipped Joe at the end and it was great to see him coming back to fitness. Ross was in next making his debut at cross country and he seemed to enjoy the experience ( kind of) . Norman was behind Ross and was happy to finishafter a hardweek of training. Richard got a pb and also 2nd in M45 category along with Joe who also got 2nd V50. Well done all !
