TOWN RUNS

The first winter town run took place on Tuesday 28th Nov on a very cold , icy night.

The slippery conditions in places made it tricky for athletes but some 20 runners and riders took part.

The fastest on the night was Norman Johnstone.

The second Town Run took place in Lockerbie on Tuesday 19th of December on a cold and foggy night! Hilly loops starting from Ponsse along past the old school heading towards the ice rink an down to the roundabout... all the way back... twice.

Well done to all runners who took part. Fastest on the night was Norman Johnstone - very well done. Best hat award goes to Linda Cameron...

Conditions were ideal at the 4th time of asking for the Moffat town run.

GRETNA TOWN RUN

The snow vanished for the penultimate town run of the season and the milder conditions were very much welcomed by all 14 runners who took part.

Congratulations to the winner Norman Johnstone who is really enjoying the town runs this year. First lady home was Marie Marshall who put in a tremendous performance. Full results below. Well done everyone.

Langholm Town run

 

The Muckle toon run was held in conjunction with our friends from the Muckle Toon Joggers and Sloggers.
